Esther Chapter 2 – Songs Structure Draft – Part 1

Here’s the draft from today’s live songwriting session! If each event takes 1 minute of music, it’ll be 11 minutes of music already! Haha.

1. Mordecai is introduced and sings “Day After Day”
   .
2. Harem girls sing about their beauty treatments
3. Esther and Hegai sing and bond
   .
4. Mordecai sings another part from “Day After Day”
5. Mordecai bumps into Hegai and asks how Esther is doing
   .
6. Back to Harem girls singing about their beauty treatments
7. Hegai gives Esther her 7 servants & the sing about beauty treatments for Esther
8. Back to Harem girls who have completed 12 months of treatment and are ready to see the king one by one
   .
9. Mordecai sings another part from “Day After Day”
10. Mordecai bumps into the first girl who leaves to see the king
    (girl sees king and leaves)
11. King sings about some general things about being a king in ancient Persia
