The importance of recording one’s composing work

So continuing from the songwriting of the melody of the important chorus, I came up with a great finish for option 2 yesterday. However I was either careless or too confident that I could remember it, and because of that, I lost that melody and had to spend most of today’s songwriting session figuring out the same melody. So from now on I will make a point to post any melody ideas to Instagram stories. And that’s what I learned today!
