Planning – Characters, Cast, and Vocal Parts

Phew, just spent some time writing down the main characters and ensemble characters. Looks like there will be a lot of male characters, sort of like Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (cause, 12 brothers, you know!).

The only solo female characters so far seem to be Esther and Zeresh (Haman’s wife), and most of the other females will be in the ensemble.

Therefore, I will see if I can give more SOLO verses to Esther’s servants and other females in/within… the House of Women, the king’s servants, the people at king’s gate, and the Jews.

Another idea is to write more female vocals in the music like instruments.
